Autogeek About Tesla Roofless Project
Autogeek magazine dedicated a full article to one of our exhibits: Tesla Roofless. The magazine noted that “the developers managed to fully preserve the operation of all electronic assistants of the electric car, including the proprietary autopilot. To this end, workers moved all cameras and sensors to other locations, precisely calibrated them and made sure they worked correctly”.
They also mentioned that “to add sporty notes to the car, the interior of the car was designed in the Lamborghini spirit. But in order to add practicality to it and additionally protect it from precipitation, all interior elements received a special custom coating. The design of the hood and wheel rims for the car were developed from “scratch”.
Especially for the SEMA 2024 we installed a pneumatic suspension with a double compressor, which allowed us to significantly reduce the clearance of the car, but if necessary, raise the body dramatically to overcome some obstacles on the road.
