Battery diagnostics
HV batteries in Tesla vehicles are designed to be safe and durable, but like any mechanical or electronic component, some conditions can lead to issues with their performance. Our skilled technicians use advanced diagnostic tools and have the knowledge to provide accurate battery diagnostics. If we identify problems or anomalies, depending on their nature, we suggest if the battery can be repaired or has to be replaced.
Battery upgrade
Even durable batteries like those in Tesla vehicles can degrade over time or not have enough capacity to meet the driver’s daily driving needs. Luckily, you can have your Tesla vehicle battery upgraded. It is also reasonable to consider upgrades for packs with a larger capacity when your current battery requires replacement. Our qualified staff has all the proper equipment and knowledge for such upgrades, including updating your Tesla’s software to recognize the upgraded pack and allow regular use and charging capability.
Battery repair
Tesla batteries are made of individual modules, each with numerous battery cells. The majority of battery failures occur when any of those cells have declines in performance. We use specialized diagnostic software to determine modules with declining cells and conduct target battery repair by extracting, isolating, and neutralizing those cells to restore the full functionality of the module and ensure steady voltage across all battery modules. If many cells have been compromised, we replace the whole module.
Battery replacement
If battery replacement becomes necessary, our trained technicians can guarantee that all connectors and components are not affected during this procedure. If inexperienced personnel damage the high-voltage system connectors, some of them cannot be repaired without replacing the entire high-voltage system. To replace the battery from any model of the Tesla vehicle, we use a vehicle lift with special hydraulic equipment, battery gurneys, and a mobile battery table that can support the heavy battery packs.
